As I’ve never really done a blog post about my studio, I thought it was about time!
About time to tell you how lucky I feel to not only have a work space but a place in this creative community: Atelier E-37.
I share the basement level of a residential apartment block with 5 other Creatives:
- Victoria Bürgin: Fashion, costume & set designer
- Paola Capelo: Mosaic artist
- Jana Fakla: Jewellery designer
- Barbara Teveßen: costume designer
- Alex Fidler: photography
- Jessica Allen: Gus & Ollie (that’s me!)
Once I got back into the studio today, it was time to ‘unpack’ from another successful market!
After spending a few hours cleaning, re-setting the window display and propping up all the monkies, monsters and friends, I thought it time I took some photos!
Which, are not always easy to take, being a small space…and with some reflection issues….but I think you’ll agree, the reflection of our delightful neighbourhood, only adds to the photographs. We just love being part of the fabric of Ottensen!

I hope you liked the small tour! Should you ever be dropping into Hamburg, Germany, do let us know.
We’d love to have you over for a cuppa 🙂
